Megan Steele
Hi, I’m Megan Steele. From the very beginning of my journey in psychology, I’ve been drawn to the inner workings of families—how we communicate, how we heal, and how we grow together. As a first-generation college and graduate school student in my family, pursuing higher education has been both a personal milestone and a testament to the values of resilience and growth that I bring into my work.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a clinical concentration from Robert Morris University and went on to complete my master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Slippery Rock University in 2020.
My work has always centered around children and families. I started in school-based settings, helping children navigate emotional and behavioral challenges in the classroom. Since 2019, I’ve been supporting families through community-based services—offering individual sessions for kids and parents, co-parenting work, and full family therapy. I’ve also had the privilege of supervising other clinicians in their family-focused work, which has deepened my appreciation for the resilience and complexity within each family system.
Currently, I’m expanding my work through training in the Gottman Method—a research-based approach to strengthening relationships. I’m passionate about helping families communicate more clearly, connect more deeply, and move through conflict with greater compassion. Whether I’m working with a child one-on-one or guiding a family through tough transitions, my goal is always the same: to create a space where healing feels possible and relationships can thrive.
